Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Toktok Proxy (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the client software, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Toktok Proxy provides encrypted proxy access through our client software. Your plan determines which regions you can reach, how many devices you may register, and any traffic allowance. Access is provisioned per account, not per person, and we may change the underlying server inventory at any time.
2. Accounts
- You must provide a valid email address and are responsible for keeping your password secure.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- Each account may register devices up to the limit of its plan. Registering a device consumes a slot until you remove it.
- You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to enter a contract where you live. Accounts for minors require a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on their behalf.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to:
- break any law that applies to you, or help someone else do so;
- attack, scan, or disrupt other networks and systems;
- send spam or run automated abuse of third-party services;
- distribute malware, or host content you have no right to distribute;
- resell the Service, or share one account across unrelated people;
- interfere with our infrastructure, or attempt to bypass plan limits.
We may suspend or close accounts that violate this section. Where abuse is ongoing or severe, we may act without prior notice.
4. Payment
Plans are sold as one-time purchases for a fixed period. Prices are shown before checkout in the currency of the plan and include the period length. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store your card details.
There is no automatic renewal today. When a period ends, access stops until you purchase again. Buying a new plan replaces your current entitlement and resets the traffic counter for the new period; it does not stack onto the remaining time.
5. Refunds
Purchases may be refunded within 14 days, subject to the conditions on our refund policy page.
6. Availability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, a particular connection speed, or access to any specific region. Maintenance, provider failures, and network conditions outside our control can all affect availability.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the current service period. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these terms, for non-payment, or where required by law. On termination your entitlement ends and registered devices lose access.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above and, where the change affects an active plan, communicated to the account email. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by contacting us first will be brought before the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you and Toktok consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
If you live outside the United States, the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence still apply and nothing here removes a right you cannot waive by contract.
11. Export controls and sanctions
The Service is operated from the United States and is subject to U.S. export control and sanctions law. You may not use the Service if you are located in, or ordinarily resident in, a country or region subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions, or if you appear on a U.S. government restricted-party list. By using the Service you confirm that neither applies to you.
